Fish Creek Restoration Projects (Estes Park, CO) 2016-2017

OVERVIEW: Fish creek was devastated by the 2013 Front Range flood event, when flood waters destroyed roads, property, and infrastructure in the Estes Park area.  AloTerra worked with the Estes Valley Watershed Coalition and the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP, NRCS) team and oversaw 100 local high school students for an outstanding outcome that benefitted not just the resource, but the community.

AloTerra provided site protection, cost estimation and design as well as construction and implementation of wetland and riparian revegetation plans.  This included bank protection, soil amendments, seeding, container stock, riparian/wetland revegetation, bioengineering (joint planting), mulching and fencing.
