Dylan Roberts
CREW LEAD & SAWYER
Dylan has been with AloTerra for two years while pursuing an Associate Degree of Natural Resource Technology at Front Range Community College. While he has been able to expand his knowledge of ecological restoration as an undergraduate and through AloTerra, Dylan has completed three certifications; Forestry and Wildlife Certifications that he obtained at FRCC and MSHA through AloTerra.
He has directed his interests to forestry and watershed restoration after his experience working with CSFS forest thinning at Lory State Park and CPRW post-fire projects such as Ratville, Elkhorn, and Black Hollow. During the CSFS and CPRW projects he developed hands-on experience in chainsaw, BDA, PALS, and other LTPBR techniques.
Dylan is adept in using heavy machinery, leading small crews, and working alongside project supervisors, foremen, and engineers. In addition to Dylan’s ecological restoration experience, he is also proficient in riparian vegetation identification, invasive species mitigation, erosion control practices, and has experience advising landowners on land use.
